Hidden gem in the neighborhood. We had salmon, Amberjack and fried chicken. Forgot to take pictures for the amberjack. The fish was so fresh, fried chicken very juicy and tender. The side dishes were fried fish and tomatoes salad. Tasty hojicha ice cream on the house. Staff was super friendly. Highly recommended Hibari. They also have dinner set menus.

Overall, it was a disappointing experience. * The chef kept coughing while preparing the sashimi, which was quite concerning. * The kaisen don, despite its price, didn’t include any tuna, which was unexpected and disappointing.

I went there for dinner and got the Omakase, it was excellent. The pairings were very good and also very unique, unlike anything I’ve had before. The owner served us the dishes at the sushi bar and was very friendly throughout the dinner. They only opened 10 months ago, would highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

The kappo course had unique flavor profiles on all dishes, and our favorite was the uni served on house made onion tofu. Staff very respectful and careful with the experience. Also just the right quantity for omakase (not too light). Highly recommend.
