I took my car in for a new alternator. It's a Volkswagen Passatt and I called Hi tech because not every place in town can work on Volkswagen. They put a new one on and told me that I needed a new battery because mine was dead. I charged it the night before to get the car up there so I'm not too sure about how dead it was. Ok, maybe it was dead so I bought a new one from them. I opened the hood the day after I picked it up to find battery acid all over me engine. Just splashed everywhere.
