Don't recommend, no one in this company knows how to communicate with each other. Receptionist is useless, could not answer basic questions and ether had to be put on hold till someone else is there to talk to or leave messages to sales people with no response. Went with with recommendation but once got job, went down hill. original sales guy was good, came qouted, messured window needed and then let insurance deal with billing. I dont understand how Hi Tech has a good rating? We ordered windows from them going on 8yrs ago. After 2yrs every single sliding window we have has failed. They all leak cold air in the winter and the mechanical parts in the sliders broke. Im giving a 2 star rating because the only good one is our fixed window. Our heating bill is atrocious in the winter and I've tried to put plastic over them but on the windy days the pressure from the outside pops it off the double sided tape. Hi 2 years later, windows gathering condensation on the inside. I replaced these windows because I was getting condensation on the old ones and was told they need replacing. I don’t know if we had super bad luck with the installation of the doors and windows. Feeling like I made a bad choice. The windows are great and look good. The outside doors not so good. We bought a door from Hi-Tec and within the first couple of months the door sweep started falling off as did the brick mould. I called the office and they sent someone out to make some repairs. A few months later the sweep started peeling off again. I also had to take the bottom chunk of brick mould off and re-attach it myself. When I did this I noticed that there was very little insulation under the moulding so I had to spray a bunch more in the cavity myself.
