great store, had what I needed
Purchased a $10 item. Returned to the store with a online version of proof or purchase. They refused to return the item because I didn't haven't the original paper copy. I asked for a return policy. The posted return policy says that returns must have a proof of purchase. Nothing about the original paper copy. Could have bought online for 1/2 the price. Could have gone to Walmart for 30% less. But I have supported Salmon Creek Ace Hardware for decades. They offered in store credit after I explained how wrong they were. Save ... read more
most of these bad reviews are probably true. It's never really a pleasant time when I come here. It's a small selection and on top of that you always feel on your own here. Spent the entire time looking for someone to help and not one person in sight. Basically walked in looked around for 20 minutes and realized I was wasting my time. Spend the extra time to go to Lowe's or Home Depot. Or really any other hardware store. Customer beware
