HFI was called and arrived here within an hour, on a Saturday afternoon. Chris Chupp replaced the capacitor. This company has been good to work with.
Chris Chupp really helped us out on one of the hottest days of the year, and was very personable. Despite getting stung by a wasp hiding in the unit, he quickly diagnosed our heat pump as having a blown capacitor and had the system up and running in 10 minutes. HFI has never disappointed me and is the first place I call for my heating and cooling systems.
Good luck getting them to communicate or follow through. I've been attempting to get them to my house to install hookups for a generator for months now. I've had a plumber and electrician from HFI at my house to look at the job in JANUARY and since then there has been zero progress. I have called back to HFI headquarters in Bloomington and was directed to Justin (?) who never called me back. Another above and beyond experience with HFI! Was needing a quote done for PM work on some equipment that was in serious need. Spoke with Jared Shelton about this and he was able to help me out considerably so that we could work together on this project. I have not yet been disappointed by the technicians or the work they do. I always use HFI if at all possible, and even when I think it's not going to be possible, Jared will work with you to figure it out. Great Job guys!
