I find endocrinology not helpful at i ask for continously glucose monitor i get answers on how it won't be approved when I have a phobia of needles but my mom got approved and she doesn't have diabetes but got the monitor. I dont want to hear how u cant do things as a doctor i want to hear yes I can help you not no i cant do this. You want me to check my sugars pick my myself 4 times a day everyday for two or more weeks no thank you.
I never post negative reviews. However, due to dealing with Hilary, my husband and 22 year old son are going elsewhere. There hasn’t been an endocrinologist there in quite some time. That normally would be fine since I work really well at Joslin for my younger son with the nurse. However Hilary is not educated in pump technology and the benefits and refused to order the script for the pump because he didn’t see a dietician to teach him how to count carbs. Dr. Poremba has been so helpful and knowledgeable. Everytime I leave, I feel like more fully understand my condition, which makes me feel more confident going into other doctor's offices and discussing it.
