I am new to Reno, recently moved here and prior to this I was with my barber for 10 years. I’m 25, so basically since I had the care for how I looked he has been my barber. After 3 weeks of skepticism and fear of trusting someone with my hair I decided to go in blind at HayDay midtown and from the photos, Austin seemed like a chill guy and the timing worked for me so I went for it. My son got his haircut for the first time here last week. Rikki was great! My son loves his hair and we definitely found a new barber. The salon is clean and professional.

Austin is the kind of barber who takes his work seriously without making it feel heavy. He’s calm, focused, and professional, and the whole experience is stress-free. The haircut is always clean and thorough — nothing rushed, nothing missed, from the overall shape down to the neck and behind the ears. You can tell he treats his chair the way you’d treat your own space: do it right, take pride in it, and respect the person sitting there. Consistently excellent work in a relaxed, no-nonsense atmosphere.
