Alex has the skills and attention to detail that instills confidence in his abilities as an arborist. He skillfully removed two 80Ft cedars in a challenging site on my property next to my neighbors fence and did a wonderful job pruning and shaping our 40ft privet tree. I would hire him again and again. Alex works hard, listens respectfully and does a great job.
In early May 2024, Alexander Watt, owner of Hewn Man Tree Service, spent 10 hours trimming a huge walnut tree in my yard in Downieville, CA. There was a fence, and many PG&E and phone line obstacles, none of which were harmed. Alexander agreed to perform the work on a Sunday to lessen the effect on the school next door. He selectively manicured this beautiful old tree, and I wholeheartedly recommend Hewn Man Tree Service!
Alexander did a great job of removing trees that were just a few feet from our very expensive deck and hot tub. He cleaned up the area afterwards so there was no debris leftover. I highly recommend his services! -- From Alta Sierra Resident.
