It’s insane you buy a printer for $300+ then proceed to need to pay a monthly subscription JUST TO PRINT FROM THE PRINTER YOU BOUGHT!! I will never buy from HP again.
DO NOT use HP printers or service. My printer cartridges are gone and InstaPrint WILL NOT send those although I am registered. I will return 3 printers.
I have a subscription with HP. I pay monthly for a printer (which is covered by a warranty), ink, and paper. The printer stopped working unexpectedly. HP sent me a new printer with a serial number of TH557C71HF. When I got the new printer, it kept giving me an error that the cyan cartridge was not communicating with the printer. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. I was sold the next-day, on-site "CARE" pack and it has been the worst experience ever with trying to get my machine repaired. HOURS spent online with "troubleshooting" going through the same elementary, reading from a script suggestions until they finally agree to send out a repair tech. DAYS until the repair tech actually schedules and appointment for WEEKS later. TWO on-site "repairs" and it is now MONTHS later and the desktop is still not repaired. I LOVE HP copiers. My last one lasted 10 years!!!! So we decided to purchase a new model. I purchased a Personal use HP copier for my home. I saw HP’s cutesy ad on the copier for “free” ink and paper for six months. All I had to do is sign up with a credit card for a monthly billing there after. I thought okay I’ll sign up.
