Long time customer who feels this review is long overdo as I have received consistently excellent service at Hewer Home Hardware . I would love to thank all the staff by name but I fear that I would omitt someone. I believe that I am in at least weekly as there is such an extensive selection of beautiful plants, gardening items and products for home, too. Hewer Home Hardware is just a fantastic source for all things home and garden. Point Grey is lucky to have you.
I had place two cushions on hold and the staff sold one out from under me. I wasted an hour driving out to this location and am extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and organization. I will not be supporting Home Hardware anymore.
On of the worst customer service I’ve ever received. Walked in to grab some keys. Asked an employee ( Wai ) for help. He walks in without checking says the keys are out of stock then looks at some bag. And says we’re out of stock while holding a bag full of keys in hand. When I pointed out that you are holding them in your hand. He starts to get angry, tell me to get out of my store. So I would like to ask does he own the store? Then brings his manager ( Will ) who does nothing but stands there and listens to the whole thing... read more
Not bad
Hewer Hardware has been the best hardware store in the Lower Mainland for 30 years. They have an incredible selection, much better than the monster hardware stores, and very good service. Unbeatable place. Really. One of the great secrets of living in Vancouver that long term residents can enjoy.
