Very concerned and always available when needed. Great bedside manner and will answer any question and if he is not sure he will follow up to get the right answer. Always discusses and carefully explains treatment options
My mom is a amputee three time cancer survivor and over 27 surgeries he Dr. Hebert is a concierge doctor he offered to waive his fee to see her when we went back into his office the next time they told us no he did not say that when I was with my mom and he said that then he told us it was $70 a month he would charge us instead she made another appointment we went and they told us he would not see us unless we paid his $3000 for a doctor he isn’t a liar and his staff was very rude to treat us the way they did they say one th... read more
Excellent - Dr. Hevert has been our Primary Care physician for over 22 years. He and his entire staff are qualified, caring and compassionate professionals.
I was recently admitted to Boca Raton Hospital with a heart problem, via the emergency room, and was so surprised to see Dr. Hevert come into my room, reassure me (his reassurances were fortunately warranted), and then once or twice a day for my three day stay he showed up, and he chatted with me about so many non-medical topics, beyond just checking on me medically, that I felt I truly had a friend., He is tremendously competent and goes into detail if you ask, but he is also caring and thoughtful.
STAY AWAY! VIP RIP-OFF! Mom, who is 89, was Hevert's patient for 7 months. While Mom was hospitalized, Hevert's nurse did not know which hospital Mom was in: I had to tell HER! Then Glades never bothered to get Mom admitted to a room, leaving her in emergency until I stepped in from out of state, calling and calling! No-one from Hevert's practice brought Mom's meds to the hospital, either. Most seriously, Hevert never called me back about my concerns that Mom was in dementia. I called him for months! Dr. Hevert charged my mother $1800 per year to be on his 'preferred patients' list. I had a problem with this, but my mother had confidence in him so I didn't argue. Living far away from Florida, I called his office repeatedly to get a status on my mother, and he only returned two of my calls through many years. Now that my mother is in hospice, and out of money, he will no longer treat her, according to the aide who is with her and takes care of her every day. I cannot recommend him.
He has saved mine and my husbands lives a few times He is a terrific Doctor and person
