After 1 hour and 20 minutes of waiting to change an appointment I have eventually put the phone down, the numbers reduced from 7 to 1 which took over an hour, 15 more minutes later I am still waiting. I would not mind but the person that booked my appointment form my patches request had totally ignored I was going on holiday and booked me an appointment whilst I am away. Myself and my family have been patients at this doctors for 5 years and we have only had positive experiences!! I feel so lucky to be able to get a prompt appointment whenever I need. Staff are all really friendly! I’ve been seen by multiple doctors here and they’ve always been very warm, professional and thorough!
For the most part I have had positive experiences at Heswall and Pensby Group Practice, however since having a baby 6 weeks ago, I have seen a completely different side. I have put through patches requests multiple times, have been ignored and not taken seriously, resulting in my 6 week old baby being left in pain. The GP’s themselves are great so have no complaint about the care recieved if you actually get seen.
Having waited for. 5 days i finally got an appointment at Arrowe Park During the 5 days I completed several Patch’s forms wrote several emails , was sent by 111 to Boots and actually went to Arrowe Park and was told I couldn’t be seen Eventually Michelle rang me on Thursday. When we moved into the area 5 years ago, I was always proudly telling people how amazing this Drs was. They responded quickly and timely to any concern we had. Since it has been taken over by the Myrtyl Group I feel the services have rapidly declined. Waiting time for appointments is now weeks and when the Dr requests you have bloods it can be 4-6 weeks until you can book an appointment, which could be crucial if there is something seriously wrong!
