Hess charged me thousands of dollars 11 months ago to put in a new well pump. When it failed, I called them back and Mark kept telling me that he passed my information on to the technician. 5 more phone calls and I was told that they will get back to me soon. After almost 2 weeks without water, I gave up and called another well company who came out the next day. I was told that Hess uses plastic well pumps that don't last long. I now have a stainless steel well pump with a 5 year warranty from Leichliter.

These are the same guys that are listed in Doylestown. Stay clear when it comes to wells. They use discontinued or cheap equipment that fails within a few years. I got a reputable well water contractor who know of their terrible reputation and warned me, but it was too late. Sure enough, 2 years after installation, the pressure tank and switch failed. They used Galvanized Steel for my pit less (connection from well to pipe into house). It's an inferior product. Rusted out in four years. Cost me thousands of dollars the first time, cost me thousands of dollars to fix it again by a better company. They use cheap products. Find a different company.

I called around 8 am, and a technician was there before 10. Work was done before 11:30. Would highly recommend them.
