I had lower back surgery with Dr.Hess this past summer. As fearful as I was before surgery, Dr. Hess eased my anxiety with his knowledge and charismatic energy. I was able to comfortably ask him all of the questions I had in mind and he answered all of them with so much confidence. I had 2 herniated discs that caused me so much pain, it made it difficult to do the simplest tasks or activities, even laying on my belly (my favorite sleeping position) caused me the worst pain, and it was hard getting up from that position.
