I've been here several times. They've been very nice and seem safety oriented. They communicate well and are upfront about costs. Once, I was unable to afford all repairs that were needed, and they worked with me to figure out which repairs could be done separately and which had to be done together, also helping me rank them from most to least important to my safety. I've compared my bill from them to a very similar repair done at a different shop nearby, and found the rates are very competitive.
Worst place to take your vehicle. I got robbed for $400 for a replacement part and was not guaranteed the check engine light would not come back on. (Which did the minute I left there parking lot). What mechanic doesn't know what is wrong with a vehicle!? Isn't that there job. All they could tell me for sure was "Time is money". Scammers
This is my 2nd time coming to this shop. The 1st was due to a leak my car was having. I originally went to Tires Plus (because I have a credit card with them and they’ve been really great) but they (tires plus) were quoting us $5000 for a fix. We came to Hess for a 2nd opinion & it turns out they were able to put in a new gasket that fixed our leak. And that was only a $200 job. This 2nd time was for an oil change. Is Hess auto 40 my inspections and repairs. Had a nail in my tire last week and they got me right in and out excellent service and great price. Highly recommend.
Charged me $700 for a break pads and an inspection the year for my car is 2007 at that , scammed me !
