Schools are run authoritarian style. Teachers are told what, how, and when to teach. the superintendent is too busy to stop by elementary schools .

My Children, Grandchildren, and now my great grandchildren have and are attending HUSD. I have known and know many of the Teachers, Librarians, campus assistants, office personal, Etc. and know all of my children Have and will receive the best of the best, because they care!!
My daughter has missed 1 day of school for a family emergency ALLL school year. The other is the day of her field trip that I chaperoned, when she left 20 minutes early after the teacher said they had nothing planned and she could leave, & the 3rd is a tardy.. This is by far the most ridiculous thing I've EVER dealt with. I get this letter in the mail when my child is ALWAYS AT SCHOOL AND ALWAYS ON TIME. They only care about money. Not the students.
All they want is your money, not a good education. Also don’t know how to properly use snow days, they will use it when it’s sunny outside, but when it snows to them it doesn’t make sense.
