Google Maps, the Hertz website, and the door of this location all state different opening hours, none of which are correct. Because we thought that we could not return the car on Saturday (according to the opening hours on the door they are closed over the weekend), we had to pay for three additional days, even though we did not use the car during those days. Cancelled my car the night before pick up. I made the reservation 7 days ago, 2 days ago I received a reminder of my upcoming reservation. They just texted me telling me they have no cars, they are all rented. SERIOUSLY. I have a non refundable seminar booked and now I'm out almost $400. This is crazy, telling me the night before on a holiday weekend.
This was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had renting a car. Akhil was a delight and helped me out a lot in figuring out what I needed based on my plans and where I was going. I was a bit skeptical with the posted hours and the other reviews, but everything was excellent and the service was top notch.

STANFORD STUDENTS — Do NOT make a reservation with this branch. Go for other options in palo alto. I got this message (see photo) 23hours before my pickup time. Clearly the author didn’t even take 20seconds to proofread before sending this to a customer. Like what does that mean exactly? Just sit and pray you win the lottery?
