Are all Pep Boys as HORRENDOUS as the one in El Paso?? Pep Boys in El Paso wanted to charge me $1700 and I got it fixed for $250 by my long-trusted mechanic in Austin (M&E on Manchaca) . Pep Boys also told me that I needed a bunch of work to pass my inspection including new wipers, the jerks not knowing that I had passed my inspection a few days earlier -- and my wipers were a mere couple of days old!!!!
