Relatively painless, you need to get a shuttle out of the main terminal. They run every 15 minutes. Drop off was at the same place so ypu need to shuttle back. Allow 30mins. There is a BP close to drop off so no need to opt for the prepaid fuel.

Very efficient, you jump on a bus at the airport and that takes you to the car yard, when dropping off the car, you drive into the yard, get out and back onto the transfer bus, and it takes you back to the front door of the airport

The Lady that was at the booking desk sydney airport at 2200 on a friday was very friendly and professional. The reason i picked Hertz was it was advertisted as airport pickup drop off. This is in correct upu have to get a shuttle bus to collect the car and a then one to return to airport on drop off. About the car collect at 2230ish friday night. Contract state one bit damage drivers bumper. Had quick scan in dark didnt notice again thing. Till 0730 sat morning ho check car in the daytime. So the driver footwell was worn th... read more
