I reserved a car with this Hertz location through Expedia to visit family in Quebec for a weekend. Upon arrival, I was informed that this location didn't allow their cars outside of provincial boundaries, which defeated the whole purpose of the rental. Not being upfront about this rule on Expedia resulted in me having to fork out an extra $100 in taxi fare to get to the airport to get another rental. Absolutely terrible!
I rented a car for 3 days for a long trip. Being a smoker I stopped multiple times. I leaned in once to shut it off with a smoke in my mouth and I guess an ash fell inside and they also said it smelled like smoke. Well I didn't smoke in the car at all and anyone with half a brain would know that a smoker just finishing a smoke a jumping back in a vehicle you will have smoke smell on you and your clothes.
