Hertz had me training in a position that was not the position I was hired for so I could be disrespected by the racist man who works in the Gold members booth by the name of Saleem. I recently rented a car from Hertz PDX as a loyal Hertz customer. I booked the manager's special due to pricing as a 5 star member, which was still high. Ultimately, this was a mistake as it caused me to have to stand in line and wait for them to ask me if the vehicle was to my liking. This defeats the purpose of having 5 Star or Gold status and avoiding the line, causing a significant delay in my trip.
