This company is honestly one of the worst I have experienced. I booked a car weeks ago, and there were no cars at pick up. I then had to call to cancel my own reservation (or I would have been charged a no-show fee.) Then I tried to rebook with this terrible company and could not be accommodated with a one-way rental. Awful.

Do not rent from Hertz, even if the price seems good. Booked and paid for my rental weeks in advanced. I went in 2 days early to try and add my wife as a driver, was told I had to wait until the day of the rental. I checked in online the day before the rental to speed up the process. Day of the rental I had to work an hr late, called to let them know. Car was given to someone else and they had no other car available. Nobody called me or gave me my money back. 3/12/25 they gave US a car this is the 3 time the car has been messed up there is a reason they are cheaper then other car rental place…. For the past two weeks I have rented from Hertz for about eight days. My first four days went as expected except I drove a Kia K4 that I literally had to wash before I left town and it smelled straight up like marijuana. The whole time it never went away till I got back and was getting my stuff out of the car. There was a Mary Jane vape under the seat!
