Be careful about using this company. While the first time there is waited 45 mins to be helped and rented out, today I reserved a large suv and called 7 times this morning to confirm the vehicle just in case I had to go somewhere else. After no answer and reaching out to support who was also rude and no help I finally was able to get through. The person there Dominique hung up on me the first time. Jarod is the Man!!!!! Omg I had an emergency and needed to get back to Detroit ASAP. I literally walked into the door at 5:59 p.m. right before close, and he was willing to stay behind after closing time to ensure that I could get back home. He restored my faith in humanity, and did it all with a smile! I don't know what days he works, but those are the days that I would recommend that everybody comes If you are looking to be taking care of and handle respectfully and quickly.
They don't even deserve a star!!!! I book a vehicle weeks in advance just to recieved a call 1 hour before pickup stating they don't have the type of vehicle offered at this location, BUT DON'T WORRY THEY WILL CANCEL MY RESERVATION!!! 1 HOUR BEFORE PICKUP WITHOUT EVEN AN OPTION FOR A DIFFERENT VEHICLE??? DISGUSTING, DISRESPECTFUL, AND TASTELESS SERVICE!
Please be aware of all the upsell attempts, even if you reserve ahead of time online. The rental options reserved in advance were not the same rental options honored when we arrived. The representative would not allow me to be on the rental with my husband unless we paid an additional $30, although I made the reservation on my Hertz Gold membership account.
