We rented a cargo van at the end of February to be picked up in April. We intentionally booked early to lock in a lower rate (under $400). Four days before our pick up date, we are told they do not have any cargo vans available and that we can either use a pick up truck or cancel our reservation. We are scrambling to find a new rental (because when you book a cargo van you don't want a truck, weird!) and are being told it will be $1200, also through Hertz but at a different location. So Hertz charges daily for additional drivers which I don't appreciate. Enterprise and Avis do not. The current team that is managing this location goes in and out of the building without speaking to the dozen people in the waiting room. I started asking the customers if they were returning a vehicle.. two were but another was picking up. So when the female manager walked back in I said, "good morning". Rented a Tesla Model 3 while my car was in the shop and it was infested with roaches. Had to do an after hours drop off at another location because they were closed over the weekend. Also had to throw out some groceries because they got in them while I was driving back home from the store.
