Do Not rent a car at the airport. I went online to reserve one and the website won't work, tried multiple attempts with no luck. I then proceeded to go in person and they wanted to charge double the rate. Tried calling to reserve and they wanted to charge additional $100 for their website not working and honoring their online price. Had to quickly rent a car while travelling. They made it easy & effortless.
The car we were provided was great. The employee at the front desk was understanding and doing the best he could considering the circumstances. However, Hertz advertises they must have state compliant car seats at all locations in their Child Seat Policy, stating: “Hertz offers a range of child safety seats that are suitable for babies and children at ALL of our rental car locations ... We rented a minivan for 11 days. I got a call the morning of rental saying it wasn't available and that we were getting a suburban. I said that was fine if the gas mileage was similar. We get there and they charge me an extra 13 + dollars a day just so my husband could drive. I wasn't aware that just because I rented the car with my credit card that I was the only one allowed to drive despite putting his name as the driver when renting it online.
