I had to cancel my reservation because Hertz did not have the vehicle category that I reserved. Instead, they tried to give me a much smaller vehicle for the exact same price. The most disappointing part was that the location manager, Thomas, showed no interest in resolving the issue or offering a reasonable solution. If the vehicle was not available, it should never have been advertised as available on the website in the first place. The agent was nice enough.. so that was positive. The rest, not so much. Showed up and there was not a car available in the class/ type I booked and I only had 'one option' if I wanted a car. Took a bit to process the rental then they were unable to print anything they were attempting to. I was told 'we'll do something special since we only have the 1 car available. We'll email you'. Clean location - selection of cars was large upon my arrival. Other than the 30 minute wait for a reservation made weeks in advance, service was handled professionally. Two people assisted me (One seemed irritated) but the other (Socorro) was very polite had a good vibe. She also made sure that I wasn’t overcharged. (5 days later) Upon returning vehicle, I did not appreciate standing outside in the 101 F heat waiting for my transportation to arrive.
