35-year Hertz Gold member. My 2 day rental extension jumped from ~$167 to over $1,400 (see photo). Staff at this San Diego branch were fine, but corporate pricing like this is completely unacceptable. Hertz has lost my business.
I am deleting the 5 stars I had previously given based on the review of my rental with Erik, my opinion of him has not changed, he is great, unfortunately I cannot say the same for Luca the manager… I highly recommend anyone to steer clear from this location and that if they rent from them and Luca is the one who does or says anything about their rental, make sure it is in writing and don’t believe anything he says, his word is as good as a $3 dollar bill, Monopoly money has more value…. It was a pleasure working with Hertz.
1. Rented through hertz to use presidential status to pick a car off the lot. They don't do that here. 2. Their selection is so limited. They didn't have any sedans so I had to get a SUV. Wish i went somewhere else.
Very easy and convenient location.
