Like the reviewer below me, I also don’t understand why they have all of the bad reviews. I had to get a rental that was set up through my car’s extended warranty company while being repaired. They set everything up with Hertz. Hertz contacted me to confirm they had my reservation. The First Lady at the office I spoke to was friendly. I was in/out in maybe 10 minutes…. If that. Not sure why they have all the bad reviews.. Rented a small SUV from this location from July 9-12, 2025. Reserved through Booking.com. Legit took 20 minutes to pickup our vehicle. No issues and great customer service.
Terrible experience at this Hertz location. It’s in a sketchy area, and the customer service made it even worse. They have bizarre ID requirements — a valid driver’s license alone isn’t enough, and they won’t accept a major credit card as a second form of ID. So unless you’re carrying a passport or birth certificate, you’re out of luck — completely unreasonable for a standard rental in 2025. Ashley, the rep, was unprofessional and unable to multitask. I've never had a problem renting a car. They asked for 2 IDs a credit card and insurance. I provided all. My reservation was made online and told me to provide an ID and card. The person at the front desk couldn't not reach my insurance for verifying all my coverage. Said she couldn't verify and just looked at me. I asked her to cancel and I left. Either way all she had to do is ask me to sign a waiver or purchase additional coverage. Either way I had coverage. I waisted so much time. I'm a Hertz Gold member and never had an... read more
Literally half a star. Worst service I've never gotten, because I literally set an appointment, just to stand there for over half an hour, to receive no service. I ended up leaving and going somewhere else.
