Hertz Car Rental - Huntsville International Airport (HSV)

This is a franchise location. Car not ready. Long wait. Zero flexibility in return changes/options. No one answers the phone. Hertz app and self svc options unavailable. Prez Circle member for years with fantastic experience with Hertz over many years. Franchise owned locations just are not usable. Hertz customer service can not help you. Why does Hertz still indulge these franchise locations or at least not warn customers we are not renting from Hertz? Massive hidden fees.

DO, AND I MEAN DO NOT BOOK WITH HERTZ. I rented a car from Thursday-Saturday. I took a picture at drop off. My receipt when I made the reservation said $69 due to using points. The day after I got back into town, I got an email receipt saying $194. I tried calling Hertz customer support and they said they can't see any chargers, can't help me and told me to call the Hertz airport. You can call them 100,000 times and it goes to voicemail. I’ve rented from hertz several times before just not from this location (Huntsville Airport) Customer service is the worst, My family and I live here in Madison Al, booked a premium SUV for a family trip to Orlando Fl for 5 days. The front desk agent started questioning my husband and I about where we’re going and how long , then she goes into this long spill about rental cars being stolen for a whole 10 min. I’d give a zero star if I could. I rented and returned a car. A week later, I still don’t have a receipt. There’s no record of my rental in the Hertz app. Rental is still showing pending on my credit card. It’s acting as if I never returned the car. The Huntsville airport Hertz location will not take a phone call. I’ve spent over an hour on the phone with national Hertz, and they haven’t been able to resolve the issue either. The only reason I’m giving 1 star is because zero was not an option. I am a Hertz Gold Plus member and I drove from near Gadsden, AL to rent a car that was confirmed 3 weeks earlier to travel to Kentucky for business. I have been using Hertz for 20 years for business travel and my company has a business account with Hertz and I use a corporate/company issued Visa credit card and a current valid drivers license to rent vehicles.
