Shout out to Chelsie, Jontue and Pam at the Hertz airport Huntsville (HSV). I had to drop off and pick up another vehicle and all three women were great! From moving items from one car to another, to dealing with multiple contracts from different locations to the service at the Gold counter; everything was great. Even when I anticipated an issue, they handled everything and got me what I needed. Did not properly document my return. I was charged over $500 dollars extra because of it- a week’s worth of “extra days” and the “late return fee.” Additionally, they rented the vehicle out to someone else while it was still in my name because the updated receipt shows the car returned to an entirely different state still under my name.

I had a positive experience here. It seems like they are paying attention to some of the feedback on here. I will say they are small enough that the car class you rent is going to be the car class you get regardless of your Hertz status. There's obviously no ultimate choice lot. BHM has no UC lot either, but usually you will get an upgrade there by default with PC status. Just know that going in. I will never rent and car from this company again I reserve a full size SUV 3 weeks in advance and get a little car and no one that works there cares they all hate life from what I can tell.

I WISH WE HAD READ THE REVIEWS!!!!! The name Hertz really means something in just about every other location except here. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a car company. If Hertz has quality control come by I would hope they would pull the name off this branch. The whole "have your insurance with you" is such a bait and switch.
