Our flight out of Chicago to Grand Rapids, Michigan was cancelled due to storms. We had no other options, other than to rent a vehicle and drive back. Hertz charged us over $600 for a one day rental from ORD to GRR!! It is unfortunate they are able to price gauge their customers, when there are no other options. It is such a shame! This is no reflection on the GRR experience, only with Hertz in general.
After returning my vehicle to GRR I realized I left my jacket with AirPods in the pocket. I have made a lost ticket online, emailed 2 different supervisors and called the location multiple times. NO ONE WILL RESPOND. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL
I would not recommend this location. There is no skip-the counter service for Gold members. It took over 30 minutes to retrieve a car, and over an hour from my reservation time. Avis has great service at GRR, and would go with them instead.
Zero stars. Will never use Hertz again. Paid for the rental in advance, like everyone does. Then was charged again at the counter when I got to the airport. I did not have time to argue with them, but it’s definitely a rip off scheme. Do yourself a favor and never use them.
Very professional , the rental process was very efficient. I would do it again!!
