These folks are the BEST! I am in the area several times per year and they take excellent care of me. Thank you to all at Foley Hertz!
Jason was spectacular. He didn't have any cars but jumped through hoops to get me on my way and home. Answered all my questions and helped me through my worrisome state.
Do NOT schedule a vehicle pickup from the airport via Hertz. We had to figure out for ourselves that the location to receive the vehicle was in Foley after landing at the Gulf Shores airport, DESPITE there being hertz vehicles parked at the FBO site. There is no shuttle to the Foley location and we had to uber there (which of course was >$50 for a 15 minute ride). There is no information about this on the website or the confirmation emails. The car was ridiculously expensive! It was filthy, it said maintenance needed, I killed bugs and spiders inside the car. I would never recommend them.
I did my first car rental as a 71 year old and drove from Mobile to Foley I had my windows down and smoked 3 cigarettes on the drive. I turned the car in and 2 hours later I got a text receipt for a charge that said cigarettes ashes found in the car so a $500 charge for cleaning. I called to protest saying I wasn't told and there wasn't a sign in the car. She said there's a no smoking on the key fob I said my 71 year old eyes couldn't even see which button was for opening so I had to push all till I hit the right one. She sa... read more
