i want to be clear about this review: the people that actually WORK at this location (Sydney and Andrew, currently) are really great. It's Hertz itself that is the nightmare, not the people on the ground running the place. They are awesome; they make dealing with this soulless shell of a company tolerable.
No cars were available during my pick up time (reservation was made weeks in advance) so we had to wait for 2 hours for them to bring another car and were late for our hotel reservation. We were promised a credit upon returning the vehicle which ended up being only $30 for a future rental, and couldn't be applied to the current rental. And I waited 45 minutes at drop off to receive this credit which was not worth it as I will never rent with Hertz again.
The customer service associate I talked to over the phone today was incredibly rude and dismissing. I was just trying to see what cars were available to rent and could tell from the start she was just trying to get me off the phone. I had one last question to ask at the end and she hung up on me. I called back and after answering me she said “I’m too busy to be having long conversations on the phone”. This was a 2-3 minute conversation.
