Horrible service! The car smelled heavily like smoke and they offered me $100 to have it detailed while I am in my vacation! If I wanted to up charge I could get another vehicle, like this is my fault they don’t clean their own cars. Followed by they can’t refund the unused week until a manager does it next week. Both reps at the airport were rude and unhelpful. I will never use Hertz again and I would highly advise against it. Disgusting….

The guy at the pick up was nice. The people on the phone are hard to understand. The windows and windshield were cleaned with a dirty rag and i had to do it myself. The headlights were not right and gave a weird shadow that while on a dark highway made you think something was running into the road or IF something actually was there would be no way you could see it. I rented from Hertz three times in the course of 2-1/2 weeks. All three experiences, including this one were good. Hertz management might have been reading previous reviews. ;-) Not very happy with the rental car changes at DSM but that's not Hertz's fault.
