Waited in line over an hour to pick up my car. When I returned it with the gas level above full they charged me a $15 fuel fee. How was I supposed to put more gas in it? First time in my life ever getting charged for fuel.
The drop-off location was closed, and the parking lot was supposed to have space available, but it was completely full. There was a real risk of the car being towed or receiving a ticket. Very disorganized. After calling Hertz customer service to complain with no solution provided, a very rude employee showed up, yelling at us and clearly upset. Unbelievable!
All A-OK from check-in through return. No hassles at all.
Make sure to check your receipt, they add extras like gas refill on without telling you and then bill you 50$ after you return on full. Short changing scam
