The staff were friendly, accomodative, and patient with me during the return process the morning of Friday, September 4th. The manager, forget her name, was honest with me and helped me in deciding if it would be better for me to go and fill up the GMC Acadia and incur a late fee or return it without a full tank of gas, when I forgot to upon arrival.
There are numerous car workers, but insufficient counter staff to assist those who are waiting at 8am prior to opening. It takes approximately 30 minutes to be checked out for a reservation, which is inconsistent with the usual practice. Their readiness to operate is inconsistent, which is inconsistent with their opening schedule. IF I could put in ZERO stars I would. First off I reserved my car weeks in advance. I had my cc activated before I arrived. I even called and asked how much they hold to be ahead of it all and have no issues. I even asked if they take debit just in case and they said yes. When I arrived, me female with two kids, my credit card had an issue. So asked if I can use my debit. Lady said "we aren't taking debit card today" so they changed their rules when I was there. I want to give the staff high praise - they hustle, they are honest, and handle a massive volume of cars for a lot and operation of their size. @Hertz - Can you look into a bigger downtown location in Denver? Your staff is killing it, but the wait is killing the mood. Five Star Gold member - so I rent with you a lot.
I had the best experience at this Hertz location. Autumn and Arianna helped me get the vehicle I needed to attend a family funeral. They were flexible and helpful at a very important time.
