Car had blowout on interstate. No spare. Hertz no help. Stranded for 2 1/2 hours. So far they have not refunded my last days rental that I did not have the car and are saying they will not pay my Uber charges and I will have to pay the tow bill. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

165 cases of Hertz falsely filing police reports on stolen vehicles. Vehicles that were legally rented from them. They gave one guy a truck they reported stolen 3 months prior. They are no longer a reputable company and you're literally risk your life renting from them.

I rented a car with a 5pm pickup. The website and google maps said the place is open until 6pm. I paid $30 for a ride share to Hertz ans I arrived at 5:24 and the attendant tells me they closed at 5pm for Covid (no sign of that online, the website let me choose a 5pm pickup w/o issue) and he wouldn't let me rent a car. Extremely disappointing to spend $60 and 1.5 hours for a round trip to Hertz and not receiving a car.
