Call to confirm that they actually have cars available. They will allow you to make a reservation, even though they have no cars in stock at all. What’s the point of being a rental car company with no cars?
Even though I reserved and PREPAID for a 12 passenger van, Hertz called me at 4:45 pm the night before my 9 am pick-up to tell me the van had been sold. They didn't have any other vehicle that size to offer me.
Although my wait was long. I had an ok experience as the staff were still very pleasant under pressure. There were a multitude of things going on in Atlanta. The young man behind the counter kept a beautiful smile on his face and proceed to assist customers without hesitation. Wasn't pleased with the car that I had but what can I say, I made the reservation that morning,
