I reserved a vehicle to pick up for a family vacation to AC NJ. While on the Garden State prkwy I stop to get gas and boom, it's was an electric vehicle!! I was not told this by the agent Dasiy nor anyone else at this location. I had to ride around scared that the car would give out, looking for a charging station. I called this location 22 times with no answer. I had my grandchildren in the car with me as it was a family vacation. This was a full on NIGHTMARE!!! If I could rate this negative stars I would. I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Hertz at JFK Airport. We arrived at the rental car service around 1:40 pm, well ahead of our 2 pm reservation. Despite this, we were told they had no cars and would have to wait. After an agonizing hour and 20 minutes, at 3:20 pm, they still had no cars. The staff was completely unhelpful, every SINGLE employee was rude, dismissive, and showed zero customer service.
