Great experience. Not what you usually get from a rental car company . Especially this day and age.
The whole experience felt like a scam The booking experience was confusing. We paid $400 for the rental and $32 in fees only to find out when we picked up the car we had to pay $200 upon pickup and an additional $200 upon drop off. The refund process was a drawn out nightmare and we still haven’t gotten our money back. The rental place told us to call a number which then asked us to fill out a form online. Avoid giving money to this service at all costs.
I’ve never posted about a rental car experience. Because they’re either not great or not noteworthy. However, I rented a car for the day from Angelo yesterday. He is without a doubt the nicest and most courteous rental car agent I’ve ever had. We are visiting here on our honeymoon and he made sure that everything was seamless and efficient with a smile on his face. Great experience. If Angelo was the norm, I’d only rent from Hertz and no where else!
