This was my first (and definitely last) time renting from this location, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. I had reserved and guaranteed a premium SUV, but upon arrival they casually downgraded me to a standard SUV — without any explanation or apology — and flat-out refused to offer a discount. Wir hatten über den ADAC einen Mietwagen gebucht. Die Mitarbeiterin am Empfang war sehr nett und freundlich und hat uns auch eine zusätzliche Versicherungen gegen Gebühr angeboten. Die haben wir abgelehnt, da alles über den ADAC abgesichert ist. Das wurde auch ohne Diskussion akzeptiert. Zehn Minuten später hatten wir unseren Wagen. Poor customer service. Misleading FAQ. Debit cards are not accepted even though advertised as such.
If we could give 0 stars we would have. We are gold members who have used Hertz numerous times on our trips within the US. When we arrived at the counter we were told that our driver's permit (an official authorization in our county) could not be accepted. When we told the agent that we rented a vehicle with Hertz a few days ago she decided to check her official handbook but was still very confused even after seeing our documents listed in the handbook.
