Made a reservation online, got a confirmation, UBER to Hertz at the airport only to discover they have no cars. How can car rental places get away with this BS. This is why I UBER now instead of Hertz.
Cannot say enough good things about our experience with Hertz at GJT, but Vincent is really who made the magic happen! Thank you Vincent for making our rental experience seamless.
this location at least has deceptive and illegal marketing practices. I prepaid in full for a rental at this location, but upon pickup was told that that I owed an additional 20% in "standard" fees that "are charged on all rentals at this location". unfortunately I needed the car immediately so I allowed the charge. if the fees are always charged, why weren't they included to begin with? the pickup location was clearly specified and there was not even a disclaimer that there might be additional fees. Our travel agent booked us the wrong rental car agency, on the wrong day, at the wrong location, and then sent us to another location where they promised us a car. Vincent at Hertz (airport location) was amazing!! He apologized for the travel agent's mistake and explained that we could wait to see if a car becomes available. After 30 mins, there was a cancellation and we were on our way. He even got a call from our agent who tried to blame the rental agency. VERY happy that Vincent was there to help us. We had a sales rep named Axel that really went above and beyond to help us resolve an issue of transporting a family of 9 to Grand Junction after we missed a connecting flight in Denver. I couldn’t be more grateful to him and Hertz.
