Best rental I've experienced at AUS. Service and price.
As a Hertz President’s Circle member, I expected a smooth and professional rental experience. Instead, I had one of the worst experiences ever at Hertz Austin Airport. I have been renting with Hertz since 2020 using my Canadian driver’s license and NEVER once has anyone asked me for a passport. At this location, the agent Angela was extremely rude and insisted I show my passport, wasting 20 minutes of my time. Great car, great value.
I got a rental car from the Dallas facility and was dropping it off in Austin. Beware of all the scams this company is trying to pull. I received the car with a quarter of a tank of gas and returned it with even more than I was given. But I was still charged $89 to refuel the car and if I had not noticed the incorrect charge they would have gotten away with it.
