This was the first time in a long time that I rented from Hertz. It was night and day compared to another vendor that I had used in the past! Mary at Austin International Airport in Austin, TX was amazing! I was originally given a much bigger car that I didn't feel comfortable driving. She found me another vehicle right away that was more manageable for my needs. It was clean, well maintained and was easy to pair via Bluetooth. I was in and out in @ 5 minutes! Horrible, I booked through citi travel which stated all fees and taxes were included. When I got to the counter they tried charging an extra $584 and were asking for an itemized receipt from citi travel (which they don’t do) Did not honor the amount I already paid. Watch out for hidden fees and overcharging. Would never book through them again. I’ve never had this issue with any other rental company.
it was busy as all heck but Ronke at the front was such a delight, helped me with an issue and reassured the customers waiting behind me. she helped make the rental a wonderful experience.
Overall great experience
Cars - trash, customer service -trash, cleaning inside the vehicles - also trash. Do better Hertz.
