Absolutely horrible and pathetic experience at the counter. Denied renting me a car saying I’ve probationary Drivers License but I’ve rented cars for more than 2 years with the same License, same counter, Same guy, Same location. He said the policy changed over a year but He has been doing a mistake by renting cars for people with probationary Drivers license. Absolutely the worst experience you can have with a rental company. The customer service is brutal, the attitudes are large and the wait times are horrendous. Do yourself a favor and literally rent from anyone else or consider calling an uber for a few days. The group out in Madison Wisconsins airport is a shining example of this company’s behavior…. If you happen to be going thru, use Avis or National and save yourself the headaches
Use Hertz at the Madison airport if you want a totally crap experience. Like a deposit of $709 pending on your credit card for a $200 rental (agent assured us not the case, but it absolutely was according to their own payment screen and we later verified via our credit card activity); if you want a price higher than what is on your confirmed reservation; if you want a totally different car from what you reserved well in advance (not talking make... saying we reserved a hybrid and they didn't have any); if you want an agent w... read more
Despite returning vehicle on time and filling out the post it note with information like it asked they charged a late fee. I returned the vehicle 3 hours early yesterday and they processed it today so it shows up as I returned it today. Make that make sense. Tried to call them 3x today and each time I just get a busy signal.
I think they're short-staffed but they are nice and do a good job getting you on your way as quick as they're able to
