Hey Hertz - I am writing because I HAD to formally complain about what was, without exaggeration, one of the most unacceptable rental car experiences I have ever had. I rented a vehicle from Hertz and was provided a Chevy Malibu four-door sedan with over 121,000 miles on it. I was genuinely stunned. It's absurd. Renting a car with 121,000+ miles and visible interior damage is wild, especially from a company that markets itself as a premium, reliable brand. My experience here was awful I was renting a car for weeks and needed some maintenance done. Called and made sure it was okay to go first before actually just showing up. The manager at this location told me that it is very hard to get an AIR FILTER approved by corporate. Keep in mind it’s a 15-20 dollar filter. The only reason why I needed that done was because the filter is way too nasty and it’s messing with my allergies being there in the car driving it. They lost my business for a 20 dollar filter.
