After ordering and paint in advance for a car days ahead of my pick up, I got to the location and no car was available myself and three other couples were there waiting also for the very same situation. I had to wait two hours and 20 minutes to get a car and the people behind me more than likely did not get a car before they closed which was 15 minutes After I receive my car. Tried giving this place a chance despite all the negative reviews! Well they weren’t wrong this place is absolutely horrible! Reserved a car on Saturday when it states it’s open to only find about 7 other people waiting in the office on their phones trying to locate customer service from hertz! So I guess it’s closed Saturdays even though the system lets you reserve online! Google and their hours posted in the office clearly say it’s open Saturdays and it wasn’t! DO NOT COME HERE you will be wasting your precious time!

I have rented several times from the Hertz rental location at the Marriott in Palm desert on Country Club Dr. I've always been treated so well and the staff are wonderful
I have never driven an electric car. I asked to rent a hybrid or regular gas car. However, there were only electric cars for rental purposes in Jan 2026. When I rented the Tesla, in January 2026, there was no tutorial for me to understand mechanical functions. The rental agent did his best to explain the concepts. However, there were times when i was unable to open my doors for others to get in. Also, i didn’t know how to operate the side view mirrors which is an obvious safety issue.
