I am so disappointed with my experience dealing with this location and as a royal member. When I walked in the person behind the desk was already on the phone with a customer that was complaining about an unauthorized charged (red flag number 1). When she completed that call and attended to me without her looking up my reservation I was told that there was no vehicles available and she don’t know why they allowed me to make the reservation (red flag number 2). I am a Hertz Gold Member and have rented vehicles across many locations without issues, but my recent experience at the Hertz on Rinehart Rd, Sanford, FL, was by far the worst I have encountered. I made a reservation around 8:00 AM and arrived by Uber at approximately 10:15 AM to pick up my car. Upon arrival, the representative at the counter informed me there were no cars available. *update I posted my original review on July 8th and I just checked my credit card statement today on August 1st and they charged me a 34$ cancellation fee when they had zero rental cars available! had to sit on the phone for 30 minutes to get a refund which is going to take 5-10 business day. They waited a week to charge me in hopes I would not notice. Went to pick up a rental and when I got there I told the front desk I had a 1pm reservation.
