If you plan to take your rental vehicle across border DO NOT expect any help if you run into any issues. It’s an international company, but you cannot get any international help because they cannot locate your rental contract. We travelled from Canada to US. We stopped at several international airport Hertz for help and tried the customer service line. Completely trash. Will never rent from Hertz again for this reason. Extremely Disappointing Experience with their Worst Current Staff. I had one of the worst experiences with Hertz. In my experience, they constantly find reasons to add extra charges to your bill, and it feels like there is always another excuse to charge you more. The workers at the Whitby location were especially disappointing. I found their handling of my situation to be extremely unprofessional and dishonest.
