I have rented cars with Hertz Temecula many times, and I am very pleased with my experiences with their cars and service. Big shout out to Kory C and Maria for my most recent visit. Maria is always warm and cordial, and makes me feel welcomed, and Kory is very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. I got to try Volkswagen for the first time, and Kory patiently walked me through setting up Apple Play to connect to my iPhone, how to check air pressure, and answered all my questions about the car. I would not be back to Hertz. I got into this car that was so dirty. I had to take it to get washed just to feel comfortable driving in it. If I pay over $500 for a rental car, I expect that car to be cleaned between uses. The pictures don’t even show the full level of dirtiness inside. I am not even showing the back seat.

Choose another rental agency. Hertz lacks employees. I waited an hour to get the vehicle i had reserved for a specific time. Is Hertz aware they need more employees? One had a family emergency and the other 2 had to cover. Processing was miserable. I felt bad for the 2 lone employees but also made me angry.

2.5 hour wait to pickup a rental even with an appointment. One person working and 10 people in the lobby waiting. Never seen anything like this and everyone waiting says this is just how it is. Be warned.
