Just wanted take a moment to thank Sandeep at the Hertz location within Saskatoon Airport. There was some confusion in my booking through Expedia and she went out of her way to help us resolve the issue. Thank you for your excellent service and help.
I'll never rent from Hertz again. I rented a truck two months ahead of time for pickup at Saskatoon airport. When I arrived on October 11th they had no trucks and only had a Ford Escape. My rental was for four men and a lot of gear. All of our belongings would not fit in the Escape. When I asked for another car that could accommodate us I was told they only had that one car and I couldn't even rent a second car. It was 11pm and I was basically stranded at the airport. Brutal service. They didn’t have a car for my reservation, not only myself but the 5 other people looking to pick up their cars. How do you have 6 reservations and not one car available, absolute joke. Thankfully budget was able to accommodate most the people left stranded with no cars.
The car had been curbed by a prior renter and had a severe vibration. I don’t think it was really safe to continue to drive it. Wasted 2.5 hours exchanging it. Offered a $50 gift certificate (because “you got a good rate”.
Worst experience ever - poor customer service and they didn’t have our car. I’ll start by saying I don’t often leave negative reviews and here is my story…. We had reserved a car through Hertz at the Saskatoon airport to be pick up at 1am. Our flight was scheduled to arrive at 12:54 am and we planned to drive to Emma Lake 2.5 hour drive.
