We had an excellent time renting from Hertz in our last trip. Booked a RAV4 at a great rate and was upgraded to a Palisade. The check in process was easy and so was the return! We will rent from Hertz again on our next trip!
I was very disappointed with my recent rental experience. Despite having a pre-booked mid-size SUV reserved, there was no vehicle available when I arrived. I ended up waiting over an hour while the staff tried to find a car. After the long wait, I was given a compact car instead of the mid-size SUV I had specifically reserved. Reserving a vehicle in advance should provide some assurance that the correct vehicle will be available, or at the very least that a comparable replacement is offered.
