As a mother, I am absolutely disgusted by the way my 19-year-old daughter was treated by the owner of a Hertz franchise. When she picked up the vehicle, no inspection was done, no walkaround, no photos were taken, and no condition report was provided. She was handed the keys and left to it — no process, no paperwork, nothing to sign. Now they’re trying to blame her for a crack in the windscreen that was clearly pre-existing or developed on its own — and they’re still withholding her $200 bond. I wish I had also checked the reviews before hiring from Hertz Hoppers Crossing! The lady that served me when collecting the vehicle was under so much pressure as it was very busy and she was on her own on a Friday before long weekend. She was very nice and helped a lot. But on return the manager Richard was terrible and just plain rude. No ability to deal with customers and should not be the manager there. Zero customer service and extremely rude .,.. idiots don’t even know how to behave !!!!!! Extremely pathetic customer service I wish my insurance never arranged a car from them
