Confirmed and booked a Landcruiser, however on pickup 30 minutes after confirmation no Landcruiser available. Poor customer service and clearly have internal admin issues.
Just after I got the rental car from Hertz I was trying to park out front so I could swap out the child seats into the rental car. Saw a tradie loading his van that was Infront of my white BMW (parked) so I stopped to tell my wife we need to find somewhere to swap out the child seats and ask if the tradie from the van was going. During the 15sec I waited for the van, two little parking maids from Willoughby council drove past in a small car and took a photo. I got a $55 Hertz admin fine and a fine from Willoughby Council. Today at the Artarmon branch, I experienced the best Hertz employee I have ever met. The manager was kind, supportive, and went above and beyond to help my wife and I. I couldn’t rate him higher. Thank you for brightening our day.
5min after I got the rental car from Hertz I was parking and waiting for a ute to move from his spot. During the 15sec I waited, with the car parallel and my indicator on two little parking maids from Willoughby council drove past in a small car and took a photo. I got a $55 Hertz admin fine and a fine from Willoughby Council (have not received it yet and not even sure if it was legal as I didn't get a ticket).
